Great people, amazing service, very happy! Will be recommending this place. Thank you so much.
Great to go to for breakfast! Delicious scrapple!
Was awesome food and they worked well with our group of 4 with 2 people showing 15 minutes later. Everything was very prompt and we were well taken care of.
Best breakfast in the county bar none! Friendly owners and staff are always attentive and alert to your service needs. Am from NC and eat here 2 to 4 times a year. Always enjoy my meals here. Highly recommend for those who like good food and generous portions.
Breakfasts was hot, good and inexpensive. Our service was friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat here again. Four stars is for food that is good but not excellent. The cream chipped beef gravy had no flavor.
Again an amazing meal ... great staff they really make you feel at home.
We got 2 angus burgers and asked for fries to replace the chips. We were charged for all, but never got the chips. Fries are REALLY good but definitely keep an eye on the check. This is a simple restaurant/diner with basic, simple meals. Expect canned fruit, overcooked burgers and plastic cups. However, place is clean, staff is friendly, service is fast and overall food is tasty. Great when in crunch for time.
Delicious food and quickly prepared. Awesome family friendly atmosphere. Waitresses are very polite and friendly. Good work Ashley. My grandkids love to eat breakfast at stony brook always when they come visit. Highly recommend and the price you can't beat for the amount of food they serve.
Food tastes good, treated real well ✌🏻
Fantastic place to eat. Never a bad visit.
Very very very good!!! Service was great and the food just what the doctor ordered! We will definitely eat here again!!!
Very busy from 7am until 11am. They offer a fantastic selection of excellent breakfast at super reasonable prices. This is a great place for families and groups to dine on a budget. Good service and friendly staff considering the volume of patrons.
Their Meatloaf was the worst I ever ate in 77 years nothing but paste and raw tomato puree inedible
Our first time here but will not be the last. We went here on Black Friday. Breakfast was outstanding. Servers and staff friendly. Good prices. Nice sized portions. Food delicious. Highly recommend..
Excellent breakfast and the prices can't be beat. Wait time is never too long and the entire staff is friendly and treat you like family.
Was there for the first time a week ago. It was Monday about 4:00 p.m. Seated immediately, but within 30 minutes place was beginning to fill up. The service was excellent! Our waitress check in regularly and was friendly and sweet. Now the food....DELICIOUS! Only complaint (lol) is just way too much.
The price is definitely affordable. The pancakes were surprisingly sweet. They brought out my son's pancake in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head and absol refused to eat it and therefore ate mine. Lol. The three stars are for a few reasons. First, the food was not spectacular, it wasn't bad either, just average. Also, our waitress was very hard to fine. I have a three year old who can only sit for so long and we waited a good 10 minutes (or a zillion minutes in toddler world) for the waitress to being our check and take payment. We ended up just getting up and finding someone. While we will not be returning, it is a solid breakfast location if your looking for a cheap and Hardy meal.
Can't beat the prices. You get really good food for really good prices. Just don't go during lunchtime on the weekend lol. Friendly staff! Would give 5 stars if the hostess service was more organized during the rush.
This is one of my favorite places for breakfast. It gets very busy on weekends. If you have a group you may have a wait after 9 AM. The waitresses are friendly and the food is top notch. I seldom have lunch but I can attest that the times I have, it's always very good. It's very clean and well run.
The food is good. The veal cutlet is the best of all. The chicken salad is good when there are no bones. Best breakfast around.
Solid family restaurant with good prices and a great breakfast. Lasagna is a never miss for lunch and dinner.
Great breakfast, friendly staff. I had the Stonybrook Scramble, which was great-- potatoes, eggs, meat, onions and peppers. Just what I was in the mood for! Will definitely stop in again when I'm back in the area.
We go here at least once a month for our Lioness Club meeting. The wait staff is always very friendly and helpful. Tonight I had chicken fingers. They were very good. The menu is very extensive. They also have specials every day. Affordable.
Very good food.!
Very average food, and large menu. Prices seem fair. Best thing about this place is service. Waiters, hosts, and management are very friendly and do well.
Was great. It was warm and welcoming. The waitress took really good care of us. The meal was huge and great. It was packed, they wore masks, and we were able to eat out doors.
Amazing food with a friendly staff. Clean restaurant with a lot of menu options.
I've been here several times. The food is typical diner food, but good. Service is generally okay. Only once did we have bad service from our waitress. Otherwise, it's a good place to eat. Prices are reasonable, too.
Visited this establishment for breakfast Saturday morning. Very friendly hostess seated us. Waitress was very friendly and cheerful. Our order came out quickly. Our food was hot, as good or better than home cooked. A waitress came by a couple of times to refill/warm up our coffee without even having to ask. Menu items were reasonably priced, food was good - overall a very pleasant visit! Would definitely recommend this establishment for breakfast to everyone.
We ended up here due to another restaurant supposedly not having any tables available/servers. Glad we did! First time here. As we pulled in, a worker was taking down the open sign in the yard. My husband asked if they were still open and he said they had been slow so they were going to close early. But we could come in and they'd serve us. Good service and good food. Thanks for staying open for us! We'll be back when we're in the area again.
The meal and service were awesome!
Food is delicious and the waitress was attentive. Everyone was following the current covid-19 procedures.
One of my favorite places to eat, the crew is always warm and friendly, the food is like grandmas and the value is great. Love you guys
Stopped in this morning for breakfast. Had to seat yourself, which really wasn't an issue but there wasn't any clean tables to sit at. We waited at least 10 minutes for service. No one offered and yet it wasn't that busy. So we left. You would think after having been closed for 3 months they would want the business. Nope, guess not.
Decent diner food, reasonable price and quick service.
Both the service and breakfast were great. Taking all the necessary precautions
They have great food and they're very friendly and they always treat you really nice and the prices are good
Same good food as before the pandemic the staff all wearing face masks and seating utilizing social distancing they show they care a out their customers.
Overall a good restaurant experience. Minor complaints but not enough to take off any stars.
Good visit. Meet with some former coe workers and had a good breakfast.
A great place for breakfast with good food, portions, and at a good price. We've actually had the best service during busy times. Lunch and dinner are more like family diner meals. Satisfying and wholesome but nothing too impressive. A solid choice in east york.
Met a friend here for a late breakfast during the week and they were packed. What a hidden gem! I had the baked peach oatmeal and it tasted home made and well, heavenly. Service was quick and courteous. Price wise, I was pleasantly surprised, because they were much less expensive than a chain-type restaurant that offers breakfast. It was very busy, which fits the stereotype that the older crowd certainly knows quality and value. I would absolutely eat here often (if I still lived in the area) and am actually sorry that I only recently was told about them. You have got to check them out. You will not be disappointed.
Great service. The food is amazing. The employees are always courteous. Relaxed atmosphere!
Good food and prices, friendly staff
Words can't describe the quality, preparation, and serving of food here. You must experience it for yourself. The turkey platter is like mom used to make. She's 95 now and we order take out from here when hungry for real turkey, mashed potatoes, filling, gravy and cole slaw. Highly recommend.
Great food great service, a little pricey for diner food.
Had a burger and fries, very good. Waitstaff was pleasant. Accurate and very personable. Prices were reasonable, will go back again for sure.
Good food at very reasonable prices. One of the last diners in York where you can get a great inexpensive breakfast. Can be busy at times but wait is normally short.
It was very warm with room heat. The clam chowder was a bit too salty. The hamburger sub was good sub roll was nicely toasted.
Love everything l order
